Consultation fees for Virtual nutrition clinic:
New Patients
- Initial Consultation (1 hour): €120

Extended, joint or family consultations, including low-FODMAP Programme, Coeliac Disease & Diabetes (1½ hrs): €180

Complex Paediatric Referrals (includes detailed food diary analysis, virtual consultation, and follow-up reports for GP & Consultant Paediatrician) (2½ hours): €285
Review Consultations
- Individual Review Consultation (30 mins): €60
- Extended or Joint Review consultation (45 mins): €85
Reduced fees for GMS / Medical Card Holders
- €10 discount per consultation (*on production of a current valid medical card only*)
Payment methods available:
- We will email you an invoice with a link where you can pay securely online using Debit or Credit card, via the Stripe platform. you can also pay by card over the phone. Receipts are automatically issued once payment has been received & processed.
Reimbursement from health insurance companies:
Fees paid to qualified dietitians / clinical nutritionists who are CORU-registered, are approved by VHI, Laya & Irish Life Health. Your receipt will include my CORU registration number & professional membership number of the INDI (Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute).
Note: St. Paul’s Garda Medical Aid Society do not currently provide any reimbursements for dietitian fees.
Reimbursements from private health insurers depends on your policy, but typically ranges from €25 to €135 per consultation.
Tax Relief
Fees paid to CORU-registered dietitians qualify as medical expenses on which tax relief can be claimed. Previously, receipts could be included in the Med.1 form, but from January 2020 this must now be done as part of your tax return
